My ratings:
Blurb:
Are village folks really that simple? What happens when rural people start gambling on drugs? Can a small girl from a village break the existing social stigma and become ‘modern’? Are love stories restricted to urban areas? Do genetics play a role in shaping decisions related to mischief? To what length can a father go to get his daughter the more important things in life? Can fulfillment come without education? Read this riveting short story of twists and turns in a village depicting the life of a farmer, his family and the village postman.
My thoughts:
A Rural Coincidence a short story full of coincidences… Dak aaya Dak aaya (remember this) a few years back these few words would bring a smile on everyone’s face… the story takes u back in time takes to on a short journey in a village… Sometimes we scum to some unnecessary needs and leave out on things which we could rather enjoy.
I believe that a coincidences can change your life upside down… Life is very precious one should not gamble with their life… Hard work pays off are some beautiful concepts which are highlighted… I feel this book has full potential of becoming a novel which id surely read… though the book is just 10 pages long it gives a great message and story which sometimes even a 200 page long book cant.
Kudos to the author for writing such a fab story… Hope to read this story in a novel form!!
Writing style:
The writing style is fluid and simple… using few words the author has managed to write a story beautifully which shows the potential the author holds and his dedication towards writing and his imagination while writing his books… Looking forward to reading more from Debjeet.
